Chelsea Corp Ltd is a multi-disciplinary construction and remediation company. We offer a full range of construction, remediation, maintenance and upgrade services including Project Management, Commercial, Civil, Industrial, Infrastructure Refurbishment as well as Residential New Build.

We have been awarded Best Multi-Disciplinary Construction and Remediation company in New Zealand from 2019 – 2022 at the Construction and Engineering awards hosted by Branz Build Magazine.

Chelsea Corp established a dedicated concrete repair division due to the growing need for our specialist service. The company is well known for its high-quality workmanship and is well-focused on the professional delivery of applications for concrete remediation, protective coatings, structural repairs, seismic upgrades, carbon fibre strengthening systems, structural steel installation, crack injection, non-disruptive wall ties, seismic joints and safety barrier installation.

Chelsea Corp can also provide waterproofing services such as car park deck systems, panel joint sealants, roofing, decking and tanking membranes.

Our team of qualified specialists are approved applicators for specialist products and systems from international companies such as Sika, Mapei, Watson Bowman Acme, Ardex, Viking Roofspec, Jaydex, Equus, Nuralite, Waterproofing Systems, Bostik, Emseal, BAS construction joints. We are currently also seeking status with a few other suppliers.

We hold an ACC WSMP tertiary level, are recipients of a Site Wise Gold certificate, are a Totika PREQUAL approved contractor and a member of IsNet.

Our Team

Fozia Khan – Accounts & Office Manager

With over 20 years of experience, Fozia is a versatile professional who excels in multiple roles, including Accounts Manager, H&S Administrator, HR Manager and Office Manager. In her multifaceted position, she manages the company’s financial wellbeing, ensuring precise and timely accounting, while also developing strategies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Fozia is highly skilled in streamlining office procedures, managing financial records, handling human resource functions and providing efficient administrative support. She is recognised for her organisational skills, attention to detail and relationship building skills with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Fozia thrives in dynamic environments by effortlessly balancing these responsibilities. She is an invaluable asset to the organisation as she helps to drive efficiency, safety and employee satisfaction. She enjoys working with the team in a collaborative environment with dedicated management.

Fozia holds a Bachelor of Business Degree with majors in Management and Digital Marketing.

Anthony Balazo – Senior Estimator

Anthony is a Senior Estimator with over 20 years of experience in the estimating field. He is highly skilled in analysing blueprints, specifications and project requirements to create detailed cost estimates that ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule.

He excels in collaborating with project managers, engineers and clients to refine cost projections, identify cost-saving opportunities and manage risk. Anthony has sound attention to detail, advanced knowledge of estimating software and a proven record of delivering accurate and reliable estimates for complex projects.

Throughout his career, Anthony has managed various aspects of estimating and quantity surveying, including preparing high-level construction cost estimates for major projects such as the Mobile Cell Towers across New Zealand; Vista Estate LP Transpower underground contract; Karaka subdivision development and the Stormwater upgrade, among others.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree, a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and a Certificate in AUTOCAD.

Nicole Sutherland - Operations Manager

Nicole plays a key role in streamlining operations and driving efficiency across the business. She has implemented digital systems to manage timesheets, project data, staff scheduling and team movements, which has significantly improved visibility and accountability both on and off-site. Nicole has also digitised several core processes—including daywork sheets, QA documentation, performance reviews and inventory tracking for tools and chemicals—bringing greater consistency and control to our operations.

In addition to systems and compliance oversight, Nicole supports recruitment, manages the company’s online profiles, helps maintain team morale and works closely with leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. She is also instrumental in levelling up the company for future success.

Before joining Chelsea, Nicole held project management roles in London across integrated communications and consultancy sectors. Her past clients included major brands such as Nespresso, McDonald’s and Microsoft. She’s also worked in sales and marketing within Australasia’s fitness industry as well as account and communications for an annual New Zealand event, hosted in Parliament. Nicole brings a wide-ranging skill set and global experience to the team, combining project management with operational know-how.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (with majors in Marketing, International Business, Management & HR), a Diploma in Integrated Nutrition & Homeopathy and a Certificate in PRINCE2 Project Management (Foundation & Practitioner).

Rob Edmonds – Senior Project Manager

Rob plays a key role in a range of administrative duties, including meeting clients, pricing work for tenders and developing detailed work programs. His responsibilities also involve providing on-site leadership to ensure projects run on time and within budget. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and project management, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.

Before joining Chelsea, Rob ran his own Architectural Practice for 10 years, collaborating closely with local councils to secure a range of resource and building consents. This required him to collaborate with a diverse group of building industry professionals, such as structural engineers, surveyors, and fire service engineers, to produce the necessary documentation.

Rob also has extensive experience as a carpenter, having worked on a diverse array of residential, commercial and industrial projects. Along with his hands-on experience in the building process, Rob is highly skilled in reading and interpreting plans and diagrams, as well as accurately measuring and setting out projects.

Finally, Rob has over 15 years of experience in on-site management, overseeing both residential and commercial projects. Key components of this included personnel management, ordering materials and coordinating subcontractors. This also included running site meetings, toolbox talks and ensuring all onsite documentation including incident reports and QA sheets, were kept up-to-date.
